Important: FareScout is NOT a travel agency. We do not book hotels, process payments, or handle reservations. All bookings are made directly with our partner travel providers.

3. Use of Service

You may use FareScout to:

• Search and compare hotel prices
• View hotel information and availability
• Star/save your favorite hotels locally
• Subscribe to price alerts

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

• Scrape, data mine, or automatically extract data from our service
• Use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt our service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated systems to access the service excessively

Prices displayed on FareScout are provided by third-party travel providers and are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that prices are current or error-free.

Always verify prices and availability on the travel provider's website before booking.

FareScout contains links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites. When you leave FareScout, you are subject to the terms and policies of those third-party sites.

FareScout may earn commissions from selected travel partners when you click on links or complete bookings. This comes at no extra cost to you and helps us keep the service free. Our price comparisons remain unbiased regardless of commission structures.

We are not responsible for bookings made through third-party travel providers. All booking issues must be resolved directly with the travel provider.

Currently, FareScout does not require user accounts. Your starred hotels are stored locally in your browser and are not synced across devices.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of FareScout after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
